Probationary Police Officer (posted 4/26/2024)
The Clifton Heights Civil Service Commission has announced the date and time for the testing procedure for the entry level position of probationary police officer in Clifton Heights Borough. The date, times and location are listed below. Applications can be picked up in person or downloaded from this link.
Applications must be dropped off in person with state issued identification Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm at police headquarters. Applications will close May 13, 2024 @ 4:00pm. There is no fee associated with the testing procedure.
Applicants who complete the application and hiring process and are presented with a conditional offer of employment will receive a $5000.00 signing bonus upon the successful competition of their probationary employment status in the department.
- Applicants must be:
- 21 years of age
- Possess a HS or equivalent diploma
- Possess a valid PA Driver’s license
- Be a US citizen
- Act 120 certified upon offer of employment
- Move within an 8 mile radius if the Borough upon competition of a probationary period.
