Police Activity weeks of 03/01/2017 – 03/31/2017

03/04/2017 – Warrant – Ofc. Wooding

Police arrested a w/m in the unit block of Fairview Ave. for an open narcotics warrant. The resident was walking on the street and was known to have an outstanding warrant from Folcroft Borough. The male also was in possession of narcotics and charged accordingly.


03/07/2017 – Public Drunkenness/Disorderly Conduct – Sgt. Chappelle

Police arrested a w/m resident of Morton for PD and DC after he was found by a resident of the 200 block of S. Springfield Rd. asleep on his couch. The male fled prior to police arrival, but was later located and taken into custody.


03/11/2017 – Disorderly Conduct – Ofc. Scott

Police arrested a B/M resident of Lansdown for DC after he engaged in an argument with an employee of the 7-11. Prior to leaving the male threw items about the store causing alarm to the clerk and other customers.


03/17/2017 – Warrant – Ofc. Wooding

Police arrested a w/m resident of Clifton Heights after observing him to be under the influence of alcohol. While running his information it was learned he had an active bench warrant. He was transported to DCP.


03/27/2017 – DUI – Ofc. Scott

Police arrested a b/f resident of York for DUI and related charges after finding her passed out in traffic behind the wheel of her vehicle. The vehicle was in drive and her foot on the brake at the time. She displayed signed of intoxication and was arrested.


03/27/2017 – Commercial Burglary – Sgt. Chappelle

Police responded to a reported alarm at a business in the 200 block of W. Baltimore at about 03:30. Upon their arrival they found the front door glass broken out with a brick. Employees responded and determined about $150.00 of store merchandise was taken.


03/30/2017 – DUI – Sgt. Chapelle

Police arrested a w/f resident of Holmes for DUI, hit and run and related charges after she struck a parked vehicle on E. Broadway Ave. and attempted to flee. Responding police located the operator on Springfield Rd. with lights out turning onto Baltimore Ave. Upon stopping the vehicle the operator showed signs of intoxication and arrested.
