11/05/2016 – Theft from Vehicle – Ofc. Caputo

A resident in the 100 block of S. Church St. reported sometime overnight someone entered his unlocked vehicle and took two power tools valued at $500.00.

11/13/2015 – DUI/Narcotics/Firearms – Ofc. Wooding

Officers responded to Austin Dr. for a reported male passed out in a vehicle. Police located a w/m from Ridley Park asleep in the driver’s seat with the vehicle running. During their investigation, police determined the male was under the influence of a controlled substance and also smelled an odor of burnt marijuana in the vehicle. Furthering the investigation police found the male was in possession of marijuana and a loaded firearm was found in the vehicle. The male did not have a valid CC permit for the gun. The male was charged with DUI, Narcotic and firearms violations.

11/13/2016 – DUI/Narcotics – Ofc. Wooding

Police responded to the unit block of Fairview Ave. for a reported vehicle crash. During the investigation police interviewed an operator, who struck a parked vehicle. During the interview it was determined the w/m resident of Havertown was under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances. As a result he was arrested. During the arrest police located suspected marijuana on his person.

11/23/2016 – Public Drunkenness – Sgt. McCaughan

Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Glenwood Ave. for a reported subject lying in the road. Police found a w/m from Upper Darby in the roadway and intoxicated on a controlled substance. The male attempted to flee but was arrested and charged with public drunkenness. He also had a warrant for a state parole violation and was turned over to parole agents.

11/29/2016 – Theft – Ofc Scott/ Caputo

Police arrested two employees for retail theft in an under ringing scam at Kmart. Both employees reportedly admitted to loss prevention over $2000.00 in thefts of merchandise from the store over a 30 day period.
