Police Activity weeks of 10/01/2016 – 10/31/2016

10/015/2016 – Theft – Ofc. Ford
CHPD took several complaints of sheds and vehicles entered overnight. Taken in some, but not all cases were power tools and lawn equipment only. Other valuables were left behind. If you have any information please call Clifton Heights Police.

10/18/2016 – Assault – Ofc. Berry
A w/m and w/f resident of Clifton Heights were arrested for assault and related charges after a domestic argument ended with both becoming physical. Both displayed injuries consistent with a mutual assault.

10/22/2016 – Public Drunkenness Ofc. Burke
A w/m resident from Westbrook Park was arrested for P/D after being found under the influence on a medical call. Same was turned over to a sober family member.

10/22/2016 – Warrant – Ofc. Berry
A w/f resident of Clifton Heights was taken into custody after being observed walking on Baltimore Ave. Officers on patrol knew of an active arrest warrant on the female and took her into custody without incident.

10/24/2016 – Public Drunkenness Ofc. Berry
Police arrested a w/f resident of Clifton Heights for P/D after investigating a disturbance complaint at the 7-11. She was housed until sober.

10/26/2016 – Warrant – Ofc. Wooding
Being off duty, police observed a w/f from Collingdale loitering on Baltimore Ave. Knowing she had an active warrant, duty officers were notified and the female was arrested without incident.

10/29/2016 – Retail Theft – Ofc. Wooding
Police arrested a b/f resident of Clifton Heights for retail theft and related charges after the store manager observed her concealing merchandise. The charge was upgraded to a felony due to prior convictions.

10/30/2016 – DUI – Ofc. Ford
Police arrested a w/m resident of Sharon Hill for DUI and related charges after he was observed operating his vehicle in an unsafe manner. Upon stopping the vehicle the operator was observed to have signs of intoxication and was arrested.

10/30/2016 – Narcotics – Sgt McCaughan
A w/m resident was arrested for possession of marijuana and prescription pills after officers responded for a reported suspicious person. A bowl, grinder and marijuana was found on his person leading to the arrest.
