09/08/2016 – Burglary – Sgt McCaughan

Police responded to the unit block of Mill St for a reported burglary. Upon arrival officer encountered three males removing copper pipe from the residence. After a brief struggle two of the males were arrested facing charges including burglary, assault and theft. The third male was able to flee on foot.


09/15/2016 – Warrant/Narcotics – Ofc. Ford

Police located a white male resident of Brookhaven asleep while sitting on a bike in the 500 block of E. Baltimore Ave. The male was approached by police and woken up. He identified himself and stated he had a warrant for his arrest. Police confirmed the warrant, and during a search incident to arrest drug paraphernalia was located on his person.


09/16/2016 – Narcotics/Warrant – Ofc. Wooding

While on patrol police came upon a homeless white male who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance to a degree that he was a danger to himself. The male was arrested and subsequently found in possession of controlled substances. While processing the male a warrant was also found on file.


09/19/2016 – Theft – Sgt. Martin

Police arrested a black male resident of Philadelphia after he was seen entering parked vehicles and trying door handles in the unit block of N. Glenwood Ave. A witness followed him and pointed him out to police when they arrived. He was taken into custody without incident.


09/23/2016 – Assault – Sgt. Brown

Police arrested a black male resident of Clifton Heights for assault and related charges after he recklessly discharged a firearm in his residence striking a guest. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and released.


09/26/2016 – Commercial Burglary – Sgt. McCaughan

Police are investigating a commercial burglary at the Metro PCS Phone Store on Baltimore Ave. at around 11:15 pm. Video shows the males break out a window and enter taking four “dummy” phones. The two actors are described as black males in their 20’s.
