04/07/2016 – False Reports – Sgt. Martin

Police charged a black male resident of Bryn Marw and one from Yeadon for false reports after they reported rims stolen from their vehicle. Video was attained during the investigation which showed them actually committing the theft.

04/10/2016 – UAD – Ofc. Berry

After responding to a reported domestic in the 200 block of E. Broadway Ave, police arrested a white female resident of Springfield for Under Age Drinking. She was found to be intoxicated at the time of the call.

04/12/2016 – Public Drunkenness – Ofc Berry

Police arrested a white male resident of Clifton Heights after finding him lying on the sidewalk in an intoxicated state. After being medically cleared he was released to a family member pending P/D charges.

04/17/2016 – False Reports – Sgt. Martin

A warrant was issued for a white male resident of Morton after he reported his vehicle was struck in a hit and run accident. Considering the scene did not reflect evidence of a crash, the male was advised to reconsider his report and advised of the crime of false reports. He continued with the report and eventually it was discovered he was the striking operator in a hit and run in Haverford Twp.

04/21/2016 – DUI – Ofc. Wooding

A white female resident of Clifton Heights was charged with DUI and related charges after she was involved in an accident and fled the scene. A witness identified her vehicle and she was subsequently located and taken into custody and charged. Upon interviewing the female she displayed obvious signs on intoxication.

04/24/2016 – DUI – Ofc. Berry

Police arrested a white male resident of Clifton Heights for DUI and hit and run charges after a witness directed them to the striking vehicle in the accident. A male exited the residence where the vehicle was found and identified himself as the operator. He was obviously under the influence of alcohol and admitted to consuming alcohol prior to operating the vehicle.

04/30/2016 – Stolen Bike – Ofc. Ford

Police are investigating a report of a stolen black Mongoose bike with green pegs. The victim report hearing something in her back yard and finding the bike missing.
