09/01/2015 – Assault – Sgt Martin
Police responded to the 100 block of W. Berkley Ave. for a report of a male shooting at children with a BB gun. Officers arrested a white male resident of Clifton Heights for assault and related charges after a mother of one of the children playing in the area reported the resident shot at her son with an airsoft gun from the second floor of a residence causing injury to her child’s face. The 7yo victim did display injuries consistent with the incident. The male also had an active arrest warrant out of Chester County. He was taken into custody without incident.
09/02/2015 – Warrant/Narcotics – Ofc. Wooding
While assisting the Delco Sheriff’s Department in serving a warrant on a white male resident of the unit block of N. Sycamore Ave, police located illegal narcotics, both prescription and street drugs on his person as well as a sum of money. The male was taken into custody for the warrant and an additional warrant was attained for the narcotics violations.
09/05/2015 – Assault / Retail Theft – Sgt. Martin
Police arrested a black male and female from Chester after being flagged down by a witness who stated they assaulted the clerk at a local shoe store on Baltimore Ave. In a follow up investigation the clerk stated to police he observed the male taking merchandise from the store without paying for it. He was warned to return it and asked to leave the store. His female partner was then observed attempting to switch tags on store merchandise and was asked to leave the store. The male re-entered and began to assault the clerk. Both were arrested at the scene thanks to the witness.
09/14/2015 – Warrant – Ofc. McAveney
Officers assisted Delco Sheriff’s officers in serving a warrant on a white male resident of Woodbridge Ave. Upon their arrival, the male stated I’m not going anywhere. He did go to the prison.
09/20/2015 – Assault – Ofc. McAveney
Police responded to the 300 block of N. Sycamore Ave for reported domestic assault. Upon arrival the victim stated that she was choked and struck by her child’s father and did display injuries consistent with her account. A witness also came forward and described a similar account to responding officers. As a result a black male resident of Philadelphia was arrested for assault and related charges.
09/22/2015 – Warrant – Ofc. Hahn
Police arrested a white male resident of the unit block of Wycliffe Ave. for a narcotics warrant out of Darby Borough. The male was taken into custody without incident.
