Police Activity weeks of 03/01/2015 – 03/31/2015

03/04/2015 – Narcotics – Sgt. Morgan

Police filed possession and related charges on a white female resident if Chester City after she overdosed on a SEPTA bus reroute to Chester. She was transported to the hospital for treatment. Suspected packages of heroin and needles were found in her possession.

03/07/2015 – Warrants – Ofc. Berry

Police stopped and detained three white male residents of Westbrook Park for trespassing on SEPTA property. During the investigation it was made known that one of the males had warrants out of California and Delaware County. He was arrested and transported to DCP.

03/09/2015 – Public Drunkenness – Sgt. Martin

A white male resident was charges with public drunkenness after calling 911 for an ambulance due to his intoxication. Upon police arrival the male did not know his own name. After locating his ID police placed him in the custody of family and filed a summons.

03/11/2015 – Retail Theft – Ofc. Caputo

Police arrested a black female resident of Upper Darby after she was observed by K Mart Loss Prevention conceal almost $78.00 of store merchandise and attempt to leave the store. She was charged with retail theft and related charges.

03/22/2015 – Retail Theft – Ofc. Caputo

Police arrested a black male resident of Philadelphia after K Mart Loss Prevention observed him remove merchandise from the package and conceal it. When they attempted to stop the actor, he fled on foot and was apprehended a short time late. The male was charges with retail theft and related charges.

03/25/2015 – Assault – Sgt. Morgan

Both a boyfriend and girlfriend were arrested for mutual assault charges after police responded to their residence for a domestic dispute. The white male and female residents of Clifton Heights were charges with simple assault and related charges.

3/27/2015 – Narcotics – Ofc. Scott

After noticing a male acting suspiciously on the Rite Aid Parking Lot police stopped and identified a white male resident of Clifton Heights. During this encounter police located several bags of suspected heroin and needles in his possession. He was arrested and charged with narcotics possession and related charges.

3/28/2015 – Public Drunkenness – Ofc. Scott

While on patrol police located a male sitting on the sidewalk in the area of the Rite Aid. When checking his wellbeing it was noticed he was extremely intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged with public drunkenness. An ambulance was called due to the level of his intoxication.
