03/11/2014 – Indecent Exposure – Sgt. Chappelle

A white male resident of Clifton Heights was arrested for indecent exposure and related charges after exposing his private area in the parking lot of the Rite Aid Pharmacy. Pedestrians in the area observed the act and called 911.

03/14/2014 – Theft from vehicle – Sgt. Martin

Several residents in the 3rd ward reported their vehicles broken into overnight. Items taken included sneakers, GPS units and money. Most vehicles were left unsecured but in some instances a window was broken.

03/19/2014 – Shoplifting / Assault – Ofc. Caputo

A black female resident of Philadelphia was arrested for retail theft, assault and related charges after being observed by K Mart loss prevention officers conceal merchandise and attempt to leave the store without paying for it. When loss prevention attempted to stop the female she pushed them to the ground and fled on foot. She was arrested in the 300 block of E. Baltimore Ave.

03/25/2014 – Assault – Ofc. Wooding

Assault and related charges were filed against a white female resident of Clifton Heights after police responded to the unit block of S. Diamond St for a domestic assault. The victim displayed injuries consistent with his description of events.

03/26/2014 – Shoplifting – Ofc. Berry

A white male resident of Drexel Hill turned himself in on charges of retail theft after he took several pairs of shoes from the Payless Shoe Source on Baltimore Ave. Witness gave police the tag from the vehicle he was operating which lead police to him.

03/28/2014 – Narcotics – Ofc. Wooding

Police arrested a black male resident of Clifton Heights after officers assigned to bike patrol located him urinating in public. Upon searching the male prior to placing him in a police car, officers located suspected marijuana.

03/31/2014 – Narcotics – Sgt. Mccaughan

Police attained a summons for a white male resident of Drexel Hill for narcotics violations after he overdosed of Heroin. Police seized hags of suspected heroin and a needle used to inject the drug from the scene.
