05/02/2014 – Warrant Arrest – Sgt Morgan

While on a domestic argument report police, arrested a black male resident of Clifton Heights for an outstanding Domestic Relations Warrant. He was turned over to Sheriffs Department.


05/02/2014 – Assault on Officer – Sgt Morgan

While investigating a threat call police encountered an intoxicated white male resident of Clifton Heights in an alley. The male threw a scooter at an officer and fled into his residence. When police made entry the male was found hiding in a closet. A physical altercation ensued causing injury to an officer and the male. Both required hospital treatment.
The male was charged with aggravated assault and related charges.


05/03/2014 – Domestic Assault – Ofc. Berry

Police arrested a Hispanic female resident of Clifton Heights after responding to a reported domestic assault in the 300 block of S. Springfield Rd. in Clifton Heights. The victim stated she was punched and choked by her girlfriend. The victim did display injury consistent to her account.
Police also charged the female with violation of an active PFA the victim had against her.


05/03/2014 – P/D UAD – Ofc. McAvaney

Police arrested a white female resident of Clifton Heights for Public Drunkenness and Under Age after responding to a domestic report in the unit block of N. Sycamore Ave. The female was housed until sober and issued citations for her violations.


05/13/2014 – Armed Robbery – Sgt. McCaughan

Police arrested two black males from Philadelphia for armed robbery and related charges after responding to the 7-11 on Baltimore Ave for a robbery report. The males were stopped in a vehicle leaving the scene and items from the 7-11 were located inside.


05/16/2014 – Burglary – Ofc. Berry

The owner of a commercial business on Baltimore Ave. reported an overnight burglary. Tools, money and a computer were taken. See our Facebook feed on our homepage for the video of the crime.


05/18/2014 – Burglary – Ofc. Berry

Police responded to the USPS office on Springfield Rd. for reported alarm activation. Upon arrival if was learned that entry was made with nothing taken,. A police K9 cleared the building.


05/25/2014 – Retail Theft – Ofc. Berry

A black female resident of Yeadon was arrested for retail theft and related charges after K Mart Loss Prevention observed her concealing store merchandise and not paying for it. She had 10 prior convictions for retail theft.


05/30/2014 – Public Drunkenness – Ofc. Wooding

Police arrested a white male resident of Clifton Heights after responding to a subject down. The male was actually under the influence to an extent that caused him to loose consciousness. He was arrested and charged accordingly.
