04/07/2014 – Warrant Arrest – Sgt. McCaughan
A black female resident of Clifton Heights was arrested after being observed riding in the rear of a taxi on E. Broadway Ave. The subject was known to have warrants for her arrest in district court. The taxi was stopped and the subject was arrested without incident.
04/10/2014 – Narcotics/Fraud – Sgt. McCaughan
Two black male residents of Philadelphia were arrested for narcotics, fraud and related charges after trying to pass stolen scripts for controlled substances at the Westbrook Pharmacy. A gun and large amount of cash were also recovered in the vehicle they were operating.
04/10/2014 – Narcotics – Ofc. Berry
Three juvenile actors were detained for trespassing and related offenses in the 100 block of W. Baltimore Ave. During a search, one of the males was in possession of 21 bags of suspected marijuana. Narcotic charges were filed in juvenile court.
04/11/2014 – Narcotics – Ofc. Hahn
While on routine patrol a while male was observed acting suspiciously in the 100 block of W. Broadway Ave. Upon stopping the subject it was determined the male was under 18 years of age and under the influence of alcohol. Upon his arrest police also located a small amount of marijuana on his person.
04/17/2014 – Narcotics – Ofc. Wooding
Police responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy for a reported overdose of drugs. Employees stated a customer with a child purchased syringes from the pharmacy and went into the bathroom. After hearing the child cry, employees investigated and found the customer unconscious. Police assisted the female and located suspected heroin next to her and the syringe she just purchased. A warrant for the female was attained.
04/19/2014 – Assault – Ofc. McAveney
Police responded to a residence in the 400 block of E. Baltimore Ave. for a reported domestic. They were met by a female resident of the location who stated a white male resident of the location punched her in the face; she was bleeding from the mouth. He was taken into custody for the assault and related charges.
04/28/2014 – Narcotics – Ofc. Wooding
A black male resident of Collingdale was arrested for narcotics after police noticed he and two others appeared to under the influence. In searching the males on was found in possession of prescribed controlled substance for which he was not prescribed. Narcotics charges were filed.
