01/14/2013 – Criminal Mischief – Officer Cook
An auto repair business in the 100 block of W. Baltimore Ave reported that sometime overnight an unknown person threw a rock through a customer’s vehicle window that was parked on his lot.
01/16/2013 – Burglary – Sgt. Brown
A resident from the unit block of Mill St. reported a burglary at their residence. Actor(s) took copper pipe and radiators from the residence. At the time of the incident the residence was vacant. Neighbors were assisting police with the investigation.
01/19/2013 – Theft from buildings – Ofc. Hahn
A resident in the one hundred block of W. Broadway Ave. reported someone entered their shed and took a number of power and hand tools. The building was last known secure approximately a week before the theft was noticed.
01/19/2013 – Public Drunkenness – Ofc. Press
Police responded to the 200 block of S. Springfield Rd. for a reported intoxicated male in traffic. Officers located a white male resident of Clifton Heights in the area who was intoxiacted. He was arrested and charged with public drunkenness.
01/20/2013 – Public Drunkenness – Ofc. Press
Officer Press observed two white males acting suspiciously in the area of 500 block of E. Baltimore Ave. After turning around to identify the males, they were found to be stumbling into traffic. Both males resided in East Lansdowne and were arrested for public drunkenness after it was determined they were highly intoxicated.
01/24/2013 – Theft – Sgt. Brown
A local contractor reported that a former employee made several unauthorized purchases on a company credit card and company account purchases from a supply house after being fired. The employee did not turn in the company property issued to him upon his discharge. The former employee, a white male resident from Drexel Hill was charged with several counts of theft and related charges.
01/25/2013 – Theft – Sgt. Martin
An Asian female resident of Upper Darby was arrested after concealing and removing $67.00 of Kmart merchandise. The female was processed and charged with retail theft.
01/30/2013 – Public Drunkenness – Sgt. Martin
Police responded to Edgemont Ave. for a reported woman down. Police located a white female resident of Drexel Hill in the street with minor injuries from falling. She was highly intoxicated and required medical attention. The female was charged with public drunkenness as a result.
02/08/2013 – DUI – Ofc. Wooding
A white female resident of Springfield was arrested for DUI and related charges after police observed her operating her vehicle in a reckless manner. The incident took place in the unit block of E. Broadway Ave as police were responding to disturbance call that she was a part of. She did submit to chemical testing of her blood.
02/10/2013 – Public Drunkenness – Ofc, Wooding
While on patrol Officer Wooding did stop a white male resident of Clifton Heights stumbling in traffic in the area of Edgemont Ave. He was arrested and charged with Public Drunkenness after it was determined he was highly intoxicated.
02/11/2013 – Public Drunkenness – Ofc. Gallo
Police responded to the one hundred block of E. Wyncliffe Ave. for a report od a male screaming. Upon arrival they located a white male resident of Westbrook Park highly intoxicated banging his head against a fence. The male was taken into custody and later transported to the hospital due to his level of intoxication and self-inflicted injuries. He was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
02/14/2013 – UAD/Warrant – Ofc. McCaughan
A black male resident of Westbrook Park was taken into custody on a warrant for distributing narcotics. At the time of police contact he was also found in possession of alcohol being under the age of 21.
02/17/2013 – Criminal Mischief / Attempted Burglary – Ofc. Caputo
Police responded to a pizza shop in the 200 block of W. Baltimore Ave. for a reported of criminal mischief. Reviewing local video footage revealed footage showed a white male in his teens throw a propane tank through the front door glass and he and another male of similar description attempt entry by were unsuccessful. This incident occurred about 1:55 am. Police request anyone who may have information on this incident contact us at 610-623-3242.
