04/01/2013 – Theft – Ofc. McCaughan
Police responded to the 400 block of S. Springfield Rd. for a reported theft from vehicle. The victim stated that his vehicle stored at that location had the hood and light assembly stolen sometime overnight. The value of the loss was $500.00.
04/06/2013 – Disporderly Conduct – Ofc. Berry
Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Broadway Ave for a reported fight at a local bar. Upon officers arrival patrons indicated that a white male from Clifton Heights was the instigator in the incident. He was charged with disorderly conduct. The bar owner stated he did not wish to prosecute for damage inside the bar.
04/07/2013 – Retail Theft – Ofc. Clancy
Police responded to the K Mart for a reported shoplifter in custody. The white female from Springfield was observed concealing merchandise on her person. She was arrested and charged with Retail Theft.
04/10/2013 – Retail Theft / Assault – Ofc. Wooding
Police responded to the K Mart for a reported shoplifter in custody. While trying to apprehend the suspect Loss Prevention stated that another female entered in to the incident and assaulted the Loss Prevention Assoc. making the initial apprehension. As a result a black female from Clifton Heights and a white female from Philadelphia were arrested and charged with theft and assault.
04/12/2013 – Disorderly Conduct – Sgt. Martin
A white male from Springfield and a white female resident of Clifton Heights were charged with Disorderly Conduct after a domestic argument in the street disturbed the neighbors.
04/12/2013 – UAD – Ofc. Berry
Three juveniles were arrested after police responded to a loud party in the 300 block of S. Church St. All three had signs of alcohol consumption or intoxication.
04/19/2013 – Assault – Sgt. Chappelle
Police responded to the 7-11 for an assault with a knife. Police located a 16-year-old victim who stated five black males approached him on the street. One of the male pulled a knife and demanded the victim empty his pockets. When the victim stated he had nothing for them, the males fled.
04/22/2013 – Assault – Ofc. Wooding
Police responded to the 100 block of Willowbrook Ave. for a reported assault. As a result of a domestic fight between father and son, the son attacked his father with a pair of scissors cutting him. The white male resident of the house was arrested and transported to a local hospital for treatment prior to the service of a warrant for the incident. The father had non-life threatening injuries.
04/26/2013 – Retail Theft – Sgt. Chappelle
Police responded to the K Mart store for a reported shoplifter in custody. Loss prevention apprehended a white male from Clifton Heights who was reported to have reached into a display case and remove items and leave the store. The male was arrested and charged with Retail Theft.
04/26/2013 – Narcotics – Ofc. Wooding
Police observed a domestic argument outside a bar located on Baltimore Ave. Upon investigation both combatants were found to be intoxicated and belligerent. Upon arrest for public drunkenness, a white male resident of Clifton Heights was found in possession of suspected marijuana as wall as drug paraphernalia.
04/26/2013 – Contempt of Court – Sgt. Morgan
A white male resident of Drexel Hill was arrested after violation of a PFA order, which prohibited him from contacting his partner. His partner showed phone records indicating he contacted her via text and calls numerous times in violation of the order.
04/30/2013 – Retail Theft – Sgt. Rich
A white female from Upper Darby was arrested for retail theft after being observed concealing merchandise on her person. She was taken into custody and charged with retail theft.
05/01/2013 – Disorderly Conduct – Ofc. Wooding
A white male resident of Drexel Hill was arrested after police observed him exit a bar in the 400 block of E. Broadway Ave. and urinate in the street.
05/02/2013 – Retail Theft – Sgt. Chappelle
Police arrested a black male from Philadelphia when K Mart Loss Prevention identified him as a male observed taking two flat screen TV’s and other electronics and walk out of the store without paying for them.
05/04/2013 – Theft – Ofc. McCaughan
A local landscaper reported that sometime overnight his trailer was entered and $2000.00 in equipment was stolen. The items included chain saws and a back pack blower.
05/05/2013 – UAD – Ofc. Berry
Several underage persons were arrested and charged with UAD after police responded to the 500 block of Davis Ave. for a disturbance report. All had signs of alcohol consumption or intoxication.
