02/21/2013 – Theft – Ofc. Gallo
A business in the 100 block of Mill St. reported several Mortar pans stolen overnight. The value of the pans were determined to be about $500.00
03/22/2013 – Fraud – Ofc. McCaughan
Police responded to 200 block of W. Washington Ave. for a report of credit card fraud. The victim stated a family member used her credit card to purchase cell phones without authorization, Police identified a black male resident of the address as the person involved. The victim refused to prosecute.
03/08/2013 – Burglary – Ofc. Morgan
A resident in the unit block of W. Madison Ave. reported their residence burglarized sometime during the day. He stated that the front door was left unlocked and believed this was the method of entry. The victim reported two notebook computers and a play station 3 video console missing.
03/08/2013 – Providing Alcohol to Minors – Sgt. Martin
While on patrol Sgt. Martin observed an adult male meet three juveniles in the 500 block of E. Baltimore Ave. and exchange a paper bag with them. Upon stopping the juveniles it was learned that the bag contained two 40oz. containers of alcohol. The male who provided the alcohol was located and arrested as well as the juveniles in possession of the alcohol. The white male from Drexel Hill was charged with providing alcohol to minors and related offenses.
03/10/2013 – Assault – Ofc. Mccaughan
Police answered a call for domestic violence in the unit block of Mill St. The victim stated that her husband assaulted her. She displayed injuries consistent with her statement and described a history of violence at the residence. The white male who also resided at the residence was arrested and charged with assault and related offenses.
03/11/2013 – Narcotics – Sgt. Martin
A white female resident of Upper Darby was arrested after police responded to a reported argument in the 300 block of S. Church St. During the investigation the female was found in possession of narcotics and taken into custody for same.
03/11/2013 – Theft from MV – Ofc. Wooding
Police responded to the unit block of N. Springfield Rd. for a reported suspicious person entering parked vehicles in the municipal lot. A short time later Ofc. Wooding located a white male resident of Clifton Heights, similar to the actor described. In his possession were several small electronics-, a credit card and change later learned to be taken from parked vehicles. The male was arrested and charged with theft and related offenses.
03/13/2013 – Public Drunkenness – Ofc. Gallo
Police responded to the 100 block of Berkley Ave. for a report of someone screaming. Upon arrival they located a white male from Upper Darby in a highly intoxicated state causing the disturbance. The male was arrested but transferred to a local hospital due to his level of intoxication. He was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct via summons.
03/13/2013 – Narcotics – Ofc. McCaughan
While conducting traffic enforcement detail Officer McCaughan located a vehicle that displayed a stolen registration plate. Upon stopping the vehicle Officer McCaughan observed a glassine bag similar to those used to package heroin in the vehicle. Upon further investigation it was found that all four occupants were in possession of suspected heroin. All of the occupants were arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics and related offenses.
03/14/2013 – Retail Theft – Ofc. McCaughan
Police responded to the Kmart Store for a reported shoplifter in custody of security. Loss Prevention reported a 38-year-old white male from Drexel Hill was observed concealing $83.00 worth of DVD’s on his person and attempted to leave the store. The male was charged with Retail Theft.
