12/22/2012 – Burglary – Ofc. McCaughan
A resident of the 300 block reported that while he was at work someone entered his residence and took a TV and laptop computer. The rear door was left open.
12/22/2012 – Retail Theft – Sgt. Martin
Police arrested two white females from Drexel Hill and Eddystone who were observed by Kmart Loss Prevention officers conceal and take over two hundred dollars in merchandise. When placed into custody police also located suspect heroin and cocaine in their possession.
12/22/2012 – Criminal Mischief – Ofc. Wooding
Police arrested a white male from Clifton Heights after he intentionally damaged a vehicle owned by a neighbor. The male admitted the crime out of frustration.
12/26/1012 – Attempted Burglary – Ofc. Gallo
A resident on the 200 block of W. Baltimore Ave. reported leaving for work this date and his property was intact. Upon arriving home he noticed pry marks to his door but entry was not made.
12/29/2012 – Disorderly Conduct – Ofc. Gallo
While on patrol officers observed three males fighting in the 500 lock of E. Baltimore Ave. Upon investigation two of the males were under 21 years old and were intoxicated, as was the third male. All three were charged with Disorderly Conduct and two with Underage drinking.
12/30/2012 – Public Drunkeness – Sgt. Rich
While on patrol Sgt. Rich observed a male acting suspiciously in the 100 block of S. Springfield Rd. Upon investigation the male was found to be intoxicated. The white male resident of Clifton Heights was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness.
12/30/2012 – Warrant Arrest – Sgt. Rich
While on patrol a juvenile male who was known to be wanted for probation violations was arrested after a brief chase. The male was later transported to the juvenile detention center for placement.
12/30/2012 – Retail Theft – Ofc. McCaughan
A black female resident of Philadelphia was arrested after being observed by Kmart Loss prevention officers conceal merchandise on her person. She left the store without paying for the items.
01/01/2013 – Assault – Ofc. Caputo
A white male resident of Clifton Heights was arrested for assault and related charges after police responded to the unit block of W. Madison Ave. for a domestic argument. The female had injuries consistent with her statement that the male assaulted her.
01/01/2013 – UAD – Ofc. Caputo
Police arrested a white male from Clifton Heights after observing him acting suspiciously. During this investigation he was found to been consuming alcohol and under 21 years old. He was charged with under age drinking.
01/01/2013 – Theft – Ofc. Morgan
A resident in the 400 block of S. Springfield Rd. reported that sometime overnight someone smashed the passenger side window of his vehicle and stole a GPS unit from inside.
01/06/2013 – Disorderly Conduct – Ofc. Cook
Police responded to the unit block of E. Broadway Ave. for a reported fight. Upon arrival they observed two females fighting in the parking lot of the business at that location. Both were intoxicated at the time. Both were arrested for Disorderly conduct.
01/10/2013 – Retail Theft – Ofc. Cook
Police responded to the Kmart for a report of a shoplifter in custody. Loss Prevention stated a white female from New Jersey was observed concealing over two hundred dollars in merchandise on her person and left the store without paying for it.
01/11/2013 – DUI – Ofc. Wooding
Police responded to the 200 block of W. Baltimore Ave. for a reported accident. Upon arrival one of the operators, a white female from Lansdowne displayed signs of intoxication. The operator was arrested for DUI and related offenses.
01/12/2013 – Theft from Vehicles – Sgt. Rich
Several vehicle owners in the area of the 200 block of N. Sycamore Ave reported their vehicles entered overnight. Items taken included change and small electronics. All the vehicle were left unsecured prior to the theft.
01/12/2013 – Retail Theft – Sgt. Rich
Police arrested a black female resident of Collingdale after Kmart Loss Prevention observed her concealing items in a bag. The female attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.
