11/06/2012 – Theft from vehicle – Ofc. Morgan
A resident of the 200 block of E. Baltimore Ave. reported leaving for work and finding her vehile door open. When she entered the vehicle several CD’s and electronics were missing.
11/08/2012 – Assault – Ofc. McCaughan
Police responded to the unit block of Maple Terr. for a reported domestic argument. Upon their arrival officers spoke with a female resident who said she was assaulted by her live in boyfriend. The female displayed injuries consistent with her story. The white male resident of the house was located outside in a highly intoxicated state and was arrested for the assault.
11/12/2012 – Narcotic Warrants – Ofc. Morgan
Clifton Heights Police officers assisted members of the County Drug Task Force in arresting individuals on the unit and 100 blocks of N. Sycamore Ave. and 300 block of S. Church St. for Narcotics charges that included possession and delivery.
11/11/2012 – Assault – Sgt. Brown
A 16 year old resident of Clifton Heights came to police headquarters to report that he had been assaulted by his father. The victim did display injuries including his eye being swollen shut, which required hospital treatment. The victim was transported by ambulance for treatment. A white male resident of Clifton heights was taken into custody for the assault.
11/12/2012 – Stolen Vehicle – Ofc. McCaughan
A customer of a business in the 600 block of E. Baltimore Ave. reported leaving her vehicle running outside while purchasing items in the store. When she went back to her vehicle it was missing. The vehicle was later located in the City of Philadelphia. The investigation is continuing.
11/15/2012 – Theft from building – Sgt. Chappelle
A customer of a local storage facility reported his locker was entered and approximately $500.00 in belongings were taken. The victim had not been in the facility for approximately three months prior to this.
11/23/2012 – Narcotics – Ofc. Wooding
Police observed a vehicle on the highway with front-end damage and operating erratically. Upon stopping vehicle Officer Wooding observed the operator, a black male resident of Philadelphia displaying signs of being under the influence. While interviewing the male a bundle of packets containing powder fell from the operator’s pocked. Officer Wooding determined this item to be consistent with heroin. The male was arrested for DUI and narcotics violations. When being searched another baggie of white powder consistent with cocaine was located in the defendant’s shoe as well as a large sum of money. The male was charged with Narcotics violations as well as DUI.
