Police Activity week of 03/19/2012 through 03/25/2012

03/24/2012 – Assault – Ofc. Hahn

As a result of a reported domestic assault a white male from Drexel Hill was arrested for assaulting his brother in the unit block of W. Broadway Ave. The victim stated his brother entered his residence without permission and assaulted him unprovoked. The victim required medical treatment for facial fractures.

03/24/2012 – M.V. Theft – Ofc. Gallo

A resident of the 300 block of E. Baltimore Ave. Reported his gold Nissan Maxima stoled from an apartment complex after leaving it running and un-attended in the parking lot.

03/24/2012 – DUI – Ofc. Gallo/ Ofc. Hahn

After observing a traffic violation in the 500 Block of E. Baltimore Ave. Officer Hahn Stopped an Econoline van operated by a male resident of Folcroft. During their interaction, Officer Hahn observed indications that the operator was driving under the influence. After the driver was asked to perform filed sobriety tests, which he failed, he was placed under arrest by Officer Hahn and Gallo.

03/24/2012 – Assault – Sgt. Martin

After responding to a reported domestic assault in the 200 block of N. Springfield Rd. Sgt. Marting interviewed a female victim who stated her husband physically assaulted her. The victim did have injuries which sustained her accusation. As a result a black male resident of the address was arrested and charged with assault and related charges.

03/25/2012 – Theft – Ofc. Press

Two bisunesses in the 500 block of E. Baltimore Ave. were the victim of theft from their coun operated vacumes over the weekend. In one instance a U-Hall van was observed in the area occupied by three males. Anyone with information is asked to contact Clifton Heights Police Department.

03/25/2012 – Threats – Ofc. McCaughan/Sgt Ric

As a result of a report of threats and harassment in progress officers responded to the 400 block of N. Oak Ave. Upon their arrival a white male resident of Crestwood Dr. was observed banging on a residential door threatening to kill the occupant. As a result the male was arrested and found to be intoxicated at this time. Another resident attempted to intervein and was similarly threated by the male prior to police arrival. The male was charged with terroristic threats and related charges.
