Police Activity week of 01/30/12 through 02/05/12

02/01/2012 – Attempted Burglary – Ofc. Press

A resident on Windsor Ln. reported that someone attempted to enter her residence during the day while she was at work. A male described as being white in his late teens to early twenties was seen on the property earlier in the day acting suspiciously, police were not notified. When the resident arrived home she found the rear window of the residence pushed up but no entry was gained.


02/03/2012 – Theft from Vehicles – Sgt. Chappelle

An observant business owner saw a white male from Aldan making several trips to and from an apartment building parking lot carrying items as he left. Police stopped this male after he boarded a trolley with three bags of tools, two GPS devices and other items. It was learned that the male stole the items from parked vehicles in the apartment complex. He was charged accordingly.


02/03/2012 – Public Drunkenness – Ofc. Ofc. Wooding

After investigating a domestic dispute police did cite a white male from Clifton Heights for Public Drunkenness after he refused to disperse.


02/04/2012 – Public Drunkenness – Sgt. Chappelle

Police responded to the 300 block of E. Baltimore Ave. for a report of a subject down. They found a black male from Philadelphia intoxicated and combative when they attempted to assist him. The male was arrested and housed until sober, receiving a citation for Public Drunkenness when he was released.
