01/03/2012 – Residential Burglary – Sgt. Chappelle
A resident in the 500 block of Cherry St. reported a daytime burglary of their residence where money and jewelry were taken. The resident left the residence between 11:00am and 2:00pm, leaving the rear door unsecured. It is believed how the actors gained access. Anyone seeing suspicious activity is the area are requested to contact Clifton Heights Police.
01/05/2012 – Aggravated Assault – Sgt. Martin
Police responded to the unit block of S. Church for a domestic fight between sisters. Upon arrival officers found a victim with a laceration to her head that stated to police her sister stabbed her. The house did show evidence of a struggle and evidence was collected indicating an assault took place. The 28 year old residence was taken into custody for assault and related charges.
01/06/2012 – Disorderly Conduct – Ofc. Gallo
As a result of a disorderly group report on the 200 block of E. Berkley Ave a white male residence of Aldan was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness after fail to disperse when ordered.
01/07/2012 – Attempted theft from vehicle Sgt. Chappelle
Police responded to the 300 block of Austin Dr in reference to an attempted theft from a vehicle. The victim stated that he left his vehicle unlocked overnight and found his glove box rifled when he went to the vehicle in the morning. The victim stated nothing was found to be missing.
01/08/2012 – Criminal Mischief – Ofc. Caputo
Police responded to the unit block of Wyncliffe Ave. for a reported of criminal mischief to a vehicle. Upon arrival the victim indicated his brother-in-law slashed his tires and made several harassing phone calls to the victim. Evidence was secured confirmed the victim’s suspicions. Charges were filed against a white male from New Jersey.
01/08/2011 – Burglary – Ofc. Morgan
Police responded to the 700 block of E. Baltimore Ave. for a reported commercial burglary. There was no forced entry noted but cash was removed from the till.
