Officer Press received an anonymous complaint of a wanted subject living in 312 E Baltimore Avenue, Apt. F3. The complainant stated that Upper Merion PD wanted the subject for a retail theft from the King of Prussia Mall and he was currently inside the residence. Subject was located and taken into custody without incident.

On June 8, 2011 at approximately 1622 hours, Clifton Hgts Police were dispatched to the area of S Penn st and E Broadway Ave for a report of a hit and run just occurred. The caller reported the striking vehicle, a black ford f-150, was traveling south on Springfield rd toward the Boro of Aldan. The striking vehicle and vehicle struck were both located outside an address on Merion Ave, in Aldan. During the investigation the operator was identified. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and related charges.

A Woodlyn man was taken into custody for violation of terms of a Protection From Abuse order filed by his estranged wife. The man had made several harassing text messages to the victim.

Four adults were charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to the 100 block of E. Washington for a fight call. After attempting to mediate the incident the combatants became increasingly unruly and subsequently charged by summons.

A Clifton Heights man was arrested and charges with public drunkenness after Ofc. Cook observed him consuming alcohol in a park on S. Church St. Ofc. Cook stopped the male and found more unopened containers of alcohol on the man. After being interviewed Ofc. Cook determined the make was intoxicated.

A Downingtown man was taken into custody after being found in the living room of a residence in the 300 block of E. Broadway Ave. The homeowner stated that she did not know the male nor gave him permission to be in the residence. The male smelled of alcohol upon his arrest and was in possession of a small amount of suspected marijuana. The man was charged with Criminal Trespass and related offenses as well as drug offenses.
