3/29/2011 – Sgt. Stephen Brown

Domestic Assault Arrest
Police were dispatched to the unit block of E. Madison Ave for a reported domestic assault. As a result of observations, investigation and secured statements, a criminal complaint was completed on Simple Assault and related charges against a 23 year old male resident of Clifton Heights.


3/30/2011 – Sgt. Tim Rockenbach

Fraud Investigations
Clifton Heights Police are investigating several incidents of fraud involving on line web sites. Unknown persons responding to ads of items for sale are mailing checks to purchase the item. The checks are usually in excess of the item asking price with a request by the purchaser asking the seller to forward the additional overpayment back to them via Western Union. These transactions, in most cases, CANNOT BE TRACED BACK and your money is lost. If you are concerned, please contact Clifton Heights Police investigations for guidance before sending any money.


4/02/2011 – Sergeant Stephen Brown

Disorderly Conduct Citation
On 4/02/11 Clifton Heights were summoned to Baltimore and Glenwood for a reported assault. After investigation, it was determined that the assault was a fight of mutual consent. Disorderly Conduct citations have been issued against a 23 year old female resident of E. Washington Ave and a 28 year old male resident of E. Washington Ave.


04/03/2011 – Officer Mike Cook

DUI Arrest/Narcotic Arrest
As a result of a witnessed motor vehicle traffic violation, Officer Michael Cook conducted a traffic stop on S. Glenwood Ave. Investigation determined the female operator under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances and the operator transported to the hospital for vials of blood to be tested. A search of the defendant, as a result of her arrest, located a plastic bag containing a white colored substance that tested positive for the presence of Cocaine.
