10/17/2011 – Criminal Mischief to MV – Ofc. Clancy

A resident of the 400 block of N. Oak Ave. reported his vehicle scratched by unknown persons. The scratches covered the entire truck.


10/17/2011 – Retail Theft – Ofc. Clancy

Police responded to Gina’s Closet for a reported retail theft. The clerk described two black females leaving the store with un-purchased merchandise. Officer Clancy was on patrol in the area and observed the females walking with an armload of clothing each. After seeing the police the females dropped the items and fled on foot only to be arrested a short time later.


10/18/2011 – Theft – Sgt. Rich

A supervisor from Brubacher Excavating reported the theft of an air compressor from the temporary storage yard on N. Glenwood Ave. sometime overnight. The item was an Ingersol-Rand valued at approximately $700.00.


10/18/2011 – Retail Theft – Ofc. McCaughan

Police responded to the K Mart for a reported black male in custody for stealing pool cues. The actor was observed by security walking out of the store with five pool cues protruding from his pants leg. The values of the items were $126.00.


10/21/2011 – Public Drunkenness – Sgt. Rich

Police responded to the unit block of W. Baltimore Ave for a reported intoxicated subject. They located a black male fitting the description and in need of medical treatment. He was arrested for public drunkenness and transported to MCMC for medical treatment. It was learned while in custody that the male had warrants out of Delaware County Court.


10/22/2011 – Stolen Bike – Sgt. Rich

Police responded to the unit block of Arch St. for a reported stolen bike. The victim stated that the bike was taken sometime overnight from the porch of the residence. It was described as a 21″ Haro free style bike. Serial # K10EY16552.
