9/05/2011 – Officer James Press

Warrant Arrest
While on the 500 block of Chester Avenue for a separate investigation, Clifton Heights Police identified and arrested a former tenant on two outstanding Delaware County Bench Warrants. Arrested was a 21 year old male resident with a last know address of Abbey terrace in Drexel Hill.

09/09/2011 – Officer James Press

Retail Theft Arrest
On 9-09-2011 at 8:14AM, Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the K-Mart where Loss Prevention Officers had a male employee in custody for suspected Retail Theft. Investigation that included surveillance tapes resulted in an admission of guilt by the employee who was taken into custody and subsequently released after issuance of Retail Theft Citations.

09/08/2011 – Officer Mike Cook

Hit & Run investigation
Clifton Heights Police responded to the 300 block of W. Baltimore Ave for a reported Hit & Run Accident. Witnesses provided a possible license plate number and a follow-up investigation resulted in the location of the striking vehicle and an identification of the driver. Arrested on Misdemeanor and related summary traffic charges was a 49 year old female resident of Upper Darby Township.

Terrorist Threats and Harassment Arrest
As a result of a reported harassment and threats, employment related, Clifton Heights Police investigated and located the suspect at his home in Upper Darby Township. As a result of statements and admission of guilt, a 45-year-old male resident of Ardmore Avenue in Drexel Hill was arrested via a Criminal Complaint on Terroristic Threats, Harassment and Stalking Charges.

Driving Under Influence Arrest
As a result of a vehicle stop and suspicious fresh damage to a vehicle operating on the 200 block of W. Baltimore Ave, Clifton Heights Police Investigation determined the vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident in Lansdowne Borough and that the under 21 year of age operator had been drinking. Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 20 year old male resident of Philadelphia on DUI and related charges.
