05/03/2011 – Sergeant Tim Rockenbach/Officer Tom Gallo
Clifton Height’s police responded to the 100 block of E. Baltimore Avenue for a reported unconscious female inside a retail store. Investigating Officer Thomas Gallo located the unconscious female and upon checking her purse for identification, discovered a large amount of cash and numerous bags of suspected narcotics.
Sergeant Tim Rockenbach applied for and was granted a search warrant and as a result seized 32 bags of suspected Heroin, $3,000 in cash, a pocket watch and several related items. Further investigation leaned the pocket watch and cash was stolen from a residence in Aston. Aston Police will handle the theft. Clifton Heights Police charged the 25 year- old, female Upper Darby resident with Narcotic related offenses.
05/03/2011 – Officer James Press
On 5/3/2011, CHPD responded to a reported subject brandishing a metal pipe and threatening employees of a facility located on Sycamore Avenue. Two employees who reported being threatened by a resident met arriving Officers. Police located the suspect and took the 21 year-old resident into custody without incident. Facing Assault and related charges is a 21 year -old male resident of Clifton Heights.

Disorderly Conduct Arrests
During this week, Clifton Heights Police received several reports of disorderly juveniles on a property in the 200 block of Davis Ave. On 5/6/20121 officers responded to another report and discovered three juveniles on a garage roof throwing rocks. The three juveniles were returned to police headquarters where they turned over to the custody of a parent or guardian pending the issuance of citations for Disorderly Conduct.

Clifton Heights Police are investigating the theft of a 10′ Aluminum Sheet Metal Break that was stolen sometime overnight from a residence on the unit block of Walnut Street. This incident occurred sometime after 10:30PM. Anyone with information or seeing suspicious activity is asked to contact CHPD.

DUI and Narcotic Arrest
On May 7, 2011 police were dispatched to investigate a suspicious driver possibly under the influence. The suspected vehicle was located and a traffic stop conducted at Springfield & Jefferson Aves. Observing several signs of being under the influence of alcohol or narcotics by police, the operator admitted to being under the influence of heroin taken about 15 minutes prior. A search incident to arrest, discovered 5 syringes, and several blue bags containing suspected narcotics. Arrested for DUI and Narcotic offenses was a 33 year-old male resident of Darby Borough. This incident and arrest was the direct result of a report by a concerned resident of Clifton Heights.

Criminal Mischief Arrest
A resident of E. Berkley Avenue reported to police that a juvenile was told to get off a car by a friend of his who witness a group sitting on the car. On getting off one juvenile kicked the car causing damage. After getting a description, police located the 12 year-old juvenile who admitted the damage and was issued a citation for Criminal Mischief.
