04/25/2011 – Sergeant Francis Rich

Theft and Receiving Stolen Property
Clifton Height’s police responded to N. Glenwood Avenue for a report of a suspicious person checking parked cars on N. Glenwood Ave. As a result of a search, a suspect was located on the Septa Trolley tracks and a subsequent foot pursuit resulted in the apprehension of a 21 year-ld resident of the unit block of N. Sycamore Ave.

As a result of follow-up investigation, the defendant was tied into two thefts from vehicles that occurred earlier in the morning. The defendant was charged with Theft from Motor Vehicles and Receiving Stolen Property Charges.

04/27011 – Officer Tom Gallo

Public Drunk Arrest
As a result of a suspicious person call, Clifton Heights Police responded to the unit block of E. Berkley Ave and located a male passed out and under the extreme effect of alcohol consumption. Clifton Heights Police arrested a 55 year-ld male resident of Sharon Hill. While incarcerated, investigating officers learned the defendant was wanted out Philadelphia on a warrant and was turned over to Philadelphia PD.

04/28011 – Sergeant John Martin

Retail Theft Arrest
On 4-28-2011 Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the Clifton Heights K-Mart where security officers had a female in custody. Arrested for the theft of two pieces of jewelry and 5 items of clothing was a 47 year-old female resident of Lester. The defendant was released after issuance of a summary citation on Retail Theft.

04/28/2011 – Sergeant Tim Rockenbach

Offences Against Family and Children
Clifton Heights Police responded to 22 S. Springfield Rd in Clifton Heights where officers were met by a Delaware County Children & Youth Caseworker. Investigation learned that a 3 year old and a 1 year-old child were inside a resident with no adult present.

A joint investigation conducted by Sgt. Rockenbach and Children & Youth located the children’s mother hours later and after interviews with the suspect and neighbors, an arrest was made on a 36 year old female resident of Clifton Heights on Reckless Endangering, False Reports to Police and related charges.

Burglary Arrest
On April 29, 2011 Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the unit block of E. Broadway Ave for a discovered Burglary and theft of tools. As a result of investigation, a suspect was identified and follow-up investigation located tools inside a suspect vehicle and after a consent search inside a residence located on E. Madison Ave the remaining tools were located.

Arrested on Burglary, Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property charges was a 49 year-old male resident of E. Madison Avenue.
