04/18/2011 – Sergeant John Martin
Disorderly Conduct Arrest
Clifton Height’s police received a reported call for a mother/son domestic argument on the unit block of Walnut Street. Investigation and observations found fresh damage to the victim’s car where it had been kicked in by her 32 year old son who had fled the scene prior to police arrival. A search of the vicinity located the offender at Baltimore and Glenwood Avenue who was arrested on summary Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief Citations.
04/18/2011 – Officer Matt Antonucci
During the course of patrol, Officer Antonucci investigated a suspicious parked on the Clifton Ball Field at 9:40PM, well after the posted hours of No Trespassing After dark. Further investigation also detected a strong odor of what appeared to smell like Marijuana in the area. Investigation resulted in located two males. During questioning, one male admitted to having a small smoking bowl and small amount of marijuana on his person. A second male was discovered to have an additional bag of Marijuana in the glove compartment of the car he was in control of. A consent search by the vehicle’s owner resulted in the confiscation of the drugs.
Arrested on Drug Possession charges were a 24-year-old male resident of Clover Lane in Upper Darby and a 17-year-old male resident of Rocklyn Rd., Upper Darby.
04/19/2011 – Sergeant John Martin
Domestic Related Assault
Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Sycamore Ave for a reported domestic dispute. Investigation learned the dispute was between three cousins and involved the threats and use of force with a tool as a weapon. Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 46 year-old female resident of N. Sycamore Ave on Assault charges and the issuance by mail of a citation against a 43 year-old female resident of N. Sycamore Avenue.
04/23/2011 – Officer Matt Antonucci
Public Drunkenness Arrest
Dispatched to the 100 block of N. Glenwood Ave for a reported subject down, arriving officers discovered a male under the extreme effects of alcohol or controlled substances. The 50 year-old defendant and resident of Clifton Heights admitted to alcohol and drug use. The male was transported to the hospital for treatment and will be receiving a summary citation for Public Drunkenness.
04/24/2011 – Officer Robert McCaughan
Underage Drinking Arrest
Investigating a report of a disorderly group in the rear alley of the 200 block of Cambridge Rd, arriving officers located four persons walking in the rear alley. Investigation determined two of the four to be under the age of 21 years and had consumed alcohol. Arrested were a 19-year-old female resident of Darby Borough and a 19-year-old resident of Clifton Heights.
