1/18/2011 – Sergeant Tim Rockenbach

Act 64, Narcotic Possession
On January 18, 2011 Clifton Heights Police received information that Delaware County Probation and Parole conducted a home inspection on the 500 block of Chester Avenue. As a result of this inspection, the Probation Officer discovered drug paraphernalia and controlled substances. As a result, adult probation detained a 21 year old Clifton Heights resident and Clifton Heights Police will file charges on the drug possession violations.


1/20/2011 – Officer Matt Antonucci

Public Drunkenness resulting in a Theft Arrest
While conducting a Crossing Guard detail at the intersection of N. Springfield Rd, and N. Oak Ave, Officer Matt Antonucci observed a white male under the extreme effect of alcohol consumption. The defendant could barely walk, was stumbling, had beer cans sticking out of all his pockets and had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from his person. This 52 year old male resident of Primos, Upper Darby was arrested and returned to headquarters. At headquarters the male defendant caused damage to the holding cell and urinated about the floor.

While the defendant was in the holding cell, the family of a recently deceased resident of Clifton Heights reported that they discovered missing personal belongings of hers. Officer Antonucci observed the arrested defendant had left from that residence and remembered several female watches and other items in the possession of the above defendant when arrested. As a result of a positive identification of these items, the above defendant was Criminally Charges with Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct charges via Criminal Complaint.


1/21/2011 – Officer Tom Gallo

Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the unit block of S. Diamond Street for a suspicious occupied vehicle. Arriving officers detected an odor of burnt Marijuana. All three occupants were removed from the vehicle and a subsequent search of the three located a pipe, with burnt residue of marijuana, in one of the occupants front pants pockets. The defendant, an 18 year old resident of Chester City was arrested and cited for possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


01/20/2011 – Sergeant John Martin

Disorderly Conduct Arrest
After investigating a report involving the throwing of snow balls, a family member of a victim decided to respond to one of the involved snow ball throwers and threaten him.

On police arrival the 42 year old defendant and resident of Clifton Heights was still yelling threats at the complainant, was taken into custody and returned to headquarters where he was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
