9/20/2010 – Sgt. Stephen Brown

Public Drunkenness Arrest
On Monday, September 20, 2010 Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Baltimore Avenue, at 2:10AM for a reported domestic related matter during which arriving officers encountered a 40 year old male under the influence of alcohol and suspected marijuana use.

After repeated warnings to leave, this same male showed up at police headquarters where his conduct resulted in a summary arrest for Public Drunkenness.

9/23/2010 – Officer Matt Antonucci

Domestic Assault Arrest
Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Baltimore Ave, on 9/23/10 at 11:45AM, for a reported domestic argument that escalated into a domestic assault. The 23 year old female victim reported an argument that resulted in her being assaulted by her 27 year old boyfriend who, ,after the victim fell to the ground, began to kick and stomp on her head resulting in a visible laceration to her lip and large knot on her forehead.

A broadcast to assisting agencies resulted in the defendant being taken into custody in Drexel Hill. In addition to a Protection from Abuse Order served, the defendant was arrested on Assault and related charges.

9/23/2010 – Officer Matt Antonucci

Possession of Marijuana
As a result of a dog running at large complaint on N. Sycamore Ave., Officer Matt Antonucci encountered a homeowner who had a strong odor of Marijuana emanating from her person. When asked, the homeowner admitted smoking marijuana and a small amount of suspected marijuana was observed on her kitchen table. Charges are pending on a 41 year old female resident of Clifton Heights after lab analysis is received.

9/24/2010 -Officer Chris Kammerer/Sgt. Steve Brown

Disorderly Conduct/Underage Drinking Arrests
While on patrol, Officer Chris Kammerer investigated a male on the unit block of N. Glenwood Ave at 12:15AM. As officer’s exited their patrol vehicles, they observed the 19 year old resident of Darby Borough pull what appeared to be a handgun from his waistband and throw it under a parked vehicle. The defendant was under the extreme effects of alcohol consumption. The confiscated gun was determined to be a BB handgun which the defendant indicated he used for hunting purposes. The defendant has been cited on Disorderly Conduct and Under Age Drinking charges.

9/25/2010 – Officer James Press/ Sgt. John Martin

Assault Arrest
On patrol, Clifton Heights Officers observed two females near the intersection of Baltimore and Springfield Road who appeared under the extreme effects of alcohol consumption at 4:30AM. Both were stumbling and one walked into the roadway in front of moving traffic. On investigation, one female attempted to walk away and was subsequently placed in custody. Both females, who are sisters from Glenolden Borough, became extremely combative during which both females physically assaulted officers with fists and feet.

As a result, both sisters were charged with Aggravated Assault and arrest related charges.

9/25/2010 – Sgt. John Martin

Assault and Drug Possession Arrest
On September 25, 2010 Clifton Heights Police were summoned to the unit block of S. Springfield Rd for a reported fight in progress between two females. On arrival, neighbors begged police to do something. On entrance into the reported apartment, officers observed two female engaged in a heated physical fight and a male attempting to break the fight up.

As a result of their investigation, a 28 year old female resident of Clifton Heights and a 29 year old female resident of Havertown were arrested on Criminal Charges. Additional charges of drug possession are pending against the 28 year old Clifton Heights resident pending crime lab analysis of suspected marijuana.
