Police activity week of 5-17 through 5-23

5/17/2010 – Officer Marie Morgan

Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness arrests
Clifton Heights Police received numerous complaints from residents on the 100 block of Academy Road about a disorderly intoxicated female being loud and disorderly on the street. Officer Marie Morgan responded and located a 38 year old female resident in an intoxicated state and causing a public disturbance. The defendant was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness charges.


5/19/2010 – Officer Christian Caputo

Retail Theft Arrest
Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the Clifton Heights K-Mart for a reported employee Retail Theft involving two employees. On arrival Officer Christian Caputo arrested one 18 year old female employee for her involvement in the theft and was cited. The second employee was released after termination by K-Mart.


5/22/2010 – Sergeant Francis Rich

Assault Arrest
Sergeant Francis Rich responded to a reported fight in progress on the unit block of Arch Street in Clifton Heights. On his arrival, Sergeant Rich’s investigation determined that a prior confrontation between neighbors escalated into an assault by a 25 year old male, Clifton Height’s defendant on a 23 year old male, Clifton Height’s victim. Charges including Assault, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief have been filed.


5/21/2010 – Officer Kevin Schieler

Clifton Heights Police responded to a reported disorderly group call on the 100 block of E. Washington Ave. Investigation by Officer Kevin Schieler determined that as a result of a verbal confrontation between two parties, the defendant, a 20 year old female resident of Chester City, without cause sprayed a 24 year old male resident of Clifton Heights in the face with mace. The female defendant was arrested on Simple Assault and related charges.


5/23/2010 – Officer Thomas Gallo

Clifton Heights Police responded to a reported domestic dispute in progress on the 300 block of S. Springfield Road. During his investigation, Officer Thomas Gallo learned of and confirmed an active Warrant of Arrest for a Probation Violation issued out of Delaware County on drug violations issued against the 21 year old female defendant resident of Drexel Hill. The defendant was immediately transported to Delaware County’s Women’s Correctional facility.


5/23/2010 – Sergeant John Martin

Clifton Heights Police responded to a suspicious person report on the 400 block of E. Baltimore Avenue. Passing motorists and witnesses reported a possible intoxicated male walking on E. Baltimore and gesturing at passing cars as if he had a gun or other type weapon. The 45 year old male resident of Drexel Hill was located at Baltimore and Glenwood Avenue. The defendant was arrested on public drunkenness charges and housed overnight.
