With the heat of summer upon us and in our 7th official heat wave of the season, the Borough and Police Department ask that we all take the time to check on our elderly neighbors and residents. Many elderly are unable to gauge the effects of extreme heat and fail to take the precautions necessary to cool off. If you suspect a potential problem, please notify the police department or your Borough Representative who will make sure the problem is addressed.
