12/15/2010 – Officer Robert McCaughan
Receiving Stolen Property
Information received from Philadelphia Police, reported a strong arm robbery of a 1992 Nissan Sentra suspected to be in the Clifton Heights area. While on patrol Officer Robert McCaughan observed the suspected vehicle being operated on S. Sycamore Ave. The vehicle was stopped, confiscated and the operated arrested for Receiving Stolen Property. Philadelphia police responded to follow-up with robbery charges on the defendant. Arrested was a 40 year old male resident of Clifton Heights.
12/17/2010 – Officer John Clancy
Marijuana Possession arrest
On 12/17/2010, Clifton Heights Police received a report of two subject’s possibly smoking marijuana on the 100 block of E. Baltimore Avenue. On arrival Officer John Clancy conducted an investigation involving two suspects resulted in the confiscation of marijuana on both defendants. Charged with marijuana possession were a 16 year old male resident of Springfield and a 23 year old male resident of Drexel Hill.
12/18/2010 – Officer Kevin Schieler
Disorderly Conduct Citation
Clifton Height’s police were dispatched to the 100 block of W. Madison Avenue for a reported loud radio. On arrival officers could hear a loud radio being played at a loud level that was disturbing several residents. Due to the home-owner refusing to answer his door, a Disorderly Conduct Citation is being issued via mail.

Assault and Retail Theft Charges
On Saturday, 12/18/2010 Clifton Heights Police investigated a reported Theft and Assault on a Loss Prevention Officer from a Retail Store on the 700 block of E. Baltimore Ave. Investigation learned that Loss Prevention attempted the arrest of a male who attempted to leave the store with unpaid BB guns. During their struggle the defendant’s lost his jacket and fled the area on foot. A check of the jacket discovered a suspect’s pay stub in a pocket. Further investigation by Sgt. John Martin resulted in a defendant identified. Arrest charges have been filed on a 20 year old male defendant of Philadelphia.
12/18/2010 – Officer Matt Antonucci
Theft from Vehicle Investigation
Clifton Height’s police were dispatched to the 100 block of E. Berkley Ave for a reported overnight attempted theft from vehicle. The vehicle owner reports leaving her car unlocked and discovered her CD player removed from the dash and lying on the floor.
Clifton Heights Police Department reminds all residents to leave their cars locked and report any suspicious persons or noises.
12/19/2010 – Officer Kevin Schieler
Retail Theft Arrest
On 12/19/2010, Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the Clifton Heights K-Mart for a reported female shoplifter in custody. On arrival, responding officers learned that Loss Prevention officers observed a female suspect hide and fail to pay for merchandise totaling approximately $155.87
Arrested and facing charges of Retail Theft Misdemeanor charges is a 45 year old female resident of Clifton Heights Borough.
