11/08/2010 – Officer Christian Caputo

Retail Theft
On Monday, November 08, 2010 Clifton Height’s police were dispatched to the Clifton Heights K-Mart where Loss Prevention Officers had an employee in custody for hiding merchandise for another employee who gave him cash for the item. The merchandise totaled $119.99.

Arrested and processed on summary charges of Retail Theft was a 40 year old male resident of Lansdowne Borough.

Armed Robbery Investigation
Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the unit block of E. Baltimore Ave on Tuesday, November 09, 2010 for a reported armed Robbery. A 19 year old female victim resident of Clifton Heights reported being followed from the Septa Trolley Station to Walnut Street when confronted by two black males, one of which pointed a handgun at her and demanded her hand bag. As the two males fled on foot, the victim believed both entered a waiting white colored car operated by an unknown person which fled north on Walnut Street.

At this time, the case is under investigation by Sgt. Tim Rockenbach and is quite similar to two other robberies that occurred in Lansdowne borough and Upper Darby Township. The community is asked to be aware of any suspicious persons or cars and report them to 911 immediately.


11/10/2010 – Sgt. Francis Rich

Curfew Arrest
On Wednesday, November 10, 2010 Clifton Heights Police were dispatched to the 100 block of E. Baltimore Avenue for a reported disorderly group also in violation of the 10PM curfew. On arrival this group was advised to disperse and warned of the borough curfew. As a result of two additional warnings after initial contact, a 16 year old resident of Drexel Hill was placed in custody and turned over to his parents after issuance of a Curfew Citation.

Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness arrest
As a result of a domestic related incident and reported unwanted subject, a 29 year old male resident of Clifton Heights was arrested for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct on the unit block of E. Madison Ave. Citations were issued and a responsible party picked him up.
